My lifelong fascination brings my photographs together as a whole, to dive into the essence and routine of humanity. While my surroundings may shift, peculiar pairings of commonplace objects consistently find their way into my viewfinder. The themes I explore take on lives of their own; there is no script or storyboard.

Scale, in a temporal sense, is important in my images. The ‘big’ moments in life, the cliché and picturesque, are widely captured by many. My photographs deal more with the smaller gestures, the fleeting moments that connect us as humans. These slices of narrative push the viewer cook up their own set of the circumstances; encouraging a creative co-opting of the scene into their own memories. Incorporating rich textures, deeply saturated colors and composed shapes I hope to show an overlooked view, one that might crack a smile, reveal sublimity, or capture serendipity.
